Thoughtful homeware.
Made from hotel waste.

We turn waste coffee, plastic, cardboard & glass from Second Nature hotels into homeware worth keeping. It’s one way we’re working towards our sustainability goals, and we’re helping the wider hospitality industry do the same.

4 waste streams
many opportunities.

Coffee grounds, cardboard, plastic and glass arrive at hotels, bars and restaurants every day. We keep each stream separate, turn it into a workable material and make products from it. The products are modular: fixings come undone and parts separate, so a piece that has finished its life can be broken back down and made into something else.

Materials & making

The future is in our hands.

Used coffee grounds and recovered plastics become tactile materials. Every piece begins by asking what the material can do well, then refining the form until it earns its place.

MadeBy in use

Material character belongs in the room, not only in the workshop.

For hospitality projects

A hundred rooms. A small change that adds up.

Choose a coherent collection for a new opening, refurbishment or rollout. We help project teams consider quantity, finish, timing and the material story behind every piece.
